CORPORATE RETREATS & OFF-SITES
Get Your Team Out of the Conference Room and Onto the Desert
A 14-room boutique hotel in Palm Springs, buyout-ready for small teams of up to 40 — private pool, courtyard, and lobby bar instead of a convention floor.
A Boutique Alternative to the Convention Hotel
Most corporate retreat venues in Palm Springs are built around ballrooms and 200-room resorts with meeting-room rental fees stacked on top of room rates. Azure Sky works differently: buy out all 14 rooms and your team gets the pool, courtyard, and lobby bar without sharing them with strangers — better for the informal conversations that actually make an off-site worth the trip.
The controlled environment matters more than people expect. No competing for pool chairs, no waiting behind convention traffic for coffee, no other guests within earshot of a strategy session held outdoors.
Working & Gathering Spaces
Lobby & Bar
Up to 20 guests, 800 sq ft. A quiet indoor space with a cocktail bar and fireplace — right for smaller working sessions, presentations, or evening cocktail hours.
Meadow Courtyard
Up to 40 guests, 3,400 sq ft. Open grass and a fire pit for team dinners, informal breakout conversations, or an evening wrap-up under the stars.
Pool Terrace
Up to 40 guests, 4,500 sq ft. Pool, 12-person hot tub, and bar — the space teams use most for downtime between working sessions.
Twelve Kitchenettes, Eleven Private Patios
Twelve of Azure Sky’s 14 rooms include fully equipped kitchenettes and eleven have private patios with hammocks — useful for teams who want quiet workspace outside of group sessions, not just a bed to sleep in.
How Corporate Buyouts Work
A 72-hour courtesy hold secures your dates while finance and leadership review the contract. A signed contract and deposit confirm your room block or full buyout on Azure Sky’s calendar. Employees book their own rooms directly through a team booking link, simplifying expense reporting. Unbooked rooms release at 60 and 30 days out unless the event is a confirmed full buyout. AV, catering, and team-building activity vendors are available through Azure Sky’s preferred vendor list.
Corporate Retreat FAQs
How many people can Azure Sky host for a corporate retreat?
Up to 40 guests with a full property buyout, or up to 20 for a lobby-bar working session without a buyout. Most off-sites at Azure Sky run 15–40 people.
Does Azure Sky have a dedicated meeting room or AV equipment?
Azure Sky isn’t a conference hotel — there’s no ballroom or in-house AV desk. What it offers instead is a private courtyard, pool terrace, and lobby bar that work well for strategy sessions, team dinners, and informal working time. Groups bring in their own AV or book it through a preferred vendor.
Can we book Azure Sky for a team off-site without a full buyout?
Yes, for smaller teams. Room blocks of 4 rooms or fewer don’t require a buyout. Once a booking exceeds 4 rooms, it converts to a full property buyout automatically.
Why choose a 14-room boutique hotel over a resort conference center?
Scale. A boutique buyout means your team isn’t sharing a pool, restaurant, or lobby with unrelated guests and convention traffic — every space on-site is dedicated to your group, which tends to produce better informal conversation and less schedule friction than a 300-room resort.
What’s the booking process for a corporate buyout?
Start with a 72-hour courtesy hold, then a signed contract and 25% deposit to confirm. A custom booking link goes out to your team, and unbooked rooms are released at 60 and 30 days out unless the event is a confirmed full buyout.
